I'm an artist and founder of Serena Creando. I've been working with clay for the past 10 years.

What kind of clay do I need?
I recommend natural hybrid clay — clay that works as either air-dry or fire-able ceramics, depending on what you want.
- Air-dry: great for practice, developing technique, and decorating your home. Not water-safe.
- Ceramics (fired): for final pieces, work you want to sell, and anything that needs to hold water.
Same clay. Two paths. You choose.

What materials do I need?
